The Good: It had vampires. I'm a sucker for vampire movies.

The Bad: Just about everything. A slow, pondering, tedious exploration of an adolescent fantasy (sans the sex). Long lingering looks. Misplaced music to add drama where none exists. A pointless, plot-less muddy melodrama that I had to fight to stay awake through. The effects were laughable, unimaginative, uninspired.

But I've seen plenty of low budget scifi that salvaged itself through clever writing, great acting, provoking characters, suspense, or even gore. None of that here. The characters here are flimsy, shallow things - like students play acting in a bad youtube video. Stilted, boring, rediculous dialogue. Even the misty ever-so-thoughtful monologues (yes, it had narration) did nothing to create characters or understand what anyone was thinking.

Bad enough to be irritating, but never so bad as to be tongue-in-cheek or even mildly entertaining.

By far, the worse movie I've seen in at least 10 years.
